Villa España, a hotel that is part of Magic Hotel Group, has launched the Solidarity Room, an innovative lodging concept that turns each stay into direct support for families in vulnerable situations. This proposal, unique in the chain, will allocate the entire amount of each reservation to Caritas, thus transforming the guest's experience into real and concrete support.
The group admits that initiatives promoted by companies such as Artiem Hotels, which are leaders in sustainability and social responsibility, have inspired its progress in this area and strengthened its shared goal of creating a positive impact on people's lives.
The Solidarity Room is part of Making a Magic Planet, the Magic Hotel Group's comprehensive sustainability and social responsibility initiative, which puts people and positive impact at the core of its management. This vision aligns with the group's corporate values, which include commitment, hospitality, innovation and diversity, and complements the efforts of other Spanish chains that have been promoting a more responsible tourism model for years.
The announcement comes just days after Magic Hotel Group, in collaboration with the NGO Rafiki, presented an initiative that converts surplus food from its buffets into more than 300,000 portions of food for vulnerable children in Africa. This action is evidence of how the hotel industry can provide benefits that go beyond the destination itself.
The group anticipates that in the coming months it will unveil new social initiatives to expand a program that supports, transforms and creates opportunities for those who need them most.
"We are convinced that tourism can and must be a key part of the search for solutions. Today, travelers appreciate more than ever that companies behave responsibly and with empathy. Conscious tourism is no longer just a fad: it has become a reality," says Magic Hotel Group.
Villa España also hopes that more hotels in Benidorm will join similar initiatives, following the example of national chains that have long been promoting projects with a significant social and environmental impact.
In Spain's hotel industry, there are companies that have been leading with inspiring initiatives for years. We are proud to follow their example and contribute to the cause. We hope that this Habitación Solidaria will motivate more hotels in our community to join us, because by joining forces, we can significantly increase our impact, they say.
The Solidarity Room, located in the Classic Atelier category, provides accommodation and breakfast. This option allows travelers to relax and enjoy themselves, while directly supporting families in vulnerable situations.
"We envision a space with exceptional panoramas: a future full of possibilities for those who currently face the greatest difficulties," the hotel emphasizes.
